Hi
all, finally managed to sort out a problem on my Big Show which has been
baffling me for about a year now! It was always 18 that spotted and never
the 2,all the wiring and relay circuits checked
out fine and magic squares stepper all cleaned and working. It was only
by chance that I was looking at the diagram of it with the wiper unit on
the bench next to it I realized one of the fingers was in the wrong
position and would always trip the 2 or 18 relay too early resulting in
18 always spotting after ABC lit. After a little 'modifying' I managed to
get the wiper in the correct position and reassembled. Hey presto it
worked and now it spots the 2 sometimes! I wonder if it's been like that
since 1956-who know's? Morale of the
story-check everything!
