Page Created 12-26-2022 Here is a good exchange off the facebook forum of BingoButch Yep`…I want to Win more too` Pat Reese United South Seas. So, this is the reflex unit. I hope I understand
correctly but this has something to do with handing out the different bonus
items to win more such as lighting the extras and adding in the adjustable
lit holes. I'm just not happy with how much I get to light up these features
I want to WIN more often! With less pushes of the coin button. Can someone
please explain to me how this works and what EXACTLY I have
to do to it to make it give me more features. Please talk to me like
I'm stupid, because regarding this I am. I did notice that there are two
little coil units the step move the wipers VERY SLOWLY..
the top coil if I manually operate it it, very
slowly moves the wiper clockwise. I have not verified that it's working as it
should with the coin up .. Thanks for any help, Pat 10 comments Sebastian Craig It’s Friday afternoon. I’ve had too many beers to explain it
coherently. But there are some great people on this site, that can explain it
better than me, buzzed or sober!! 😁 Hope everyone has a great weekend!! Jim Holder Yep , it will tighten up when you win more .
If you want to reset to easy setting then you will get features easier and
scores will go up easier too . Michael Lawrence If you want to keep it from tightening up after you adjust, unsolder
the wire to the coil - with power off or cut it. Label it so you remember
down the road. Didn’t some machines have more than one reflex units? Jim Holder Michael Lawrence Bingos just have one . Nathan Braden Reflex unit: designed to step up or down based on wins/losses. The
more you win, the more it steps up and makes fingers move OFF rivets, thus
having less “made” circuits to win through. As you lose, it slowly steps back
to help you win a little. Basically, it’s designed to keep you interested as
a player, yet hard enough to be profitable for the owner. A fine balance. I
always manually move the fingers around to where the fingers touch the MOST
rivets. Then I cut the trigger wires for each coil. Thus
keeping the reflex unit in the easiest position. IMPORTANT: Be sure it’s the
TRIGGER WIRES and not the other side of the coil. This is a 50V circuit and
if the coil wires opposite the trigger wires are clipped, the game will not
function properly Victor Campbell On my machines, I advance the reflex unit high and disconnect both
coils, so it stays that way. This allows scores and features to happen more
often. Benjamin L Barchik If you hold in on the relay and spin the wheel either you other hand
counterclockwise, it should loosen up and give you features more quickly Nathan Braden Also, the gears can be rotated manually by pulling in the coil
locking actuator and rotating the gears till the fingers move to the most
rivets. Manual shows the reflex unit at the zero position/ easiest position Danny Leach ....the United Bingos also have Tap Switch
Adjustments to control features like how Loose the Extra Balls are - etc - email me and I'll send you some detail - bingopinballs@yahoo Jim Holder If you contact Jeffery Lawton Sr he can tell
you how to reset and leave it that way. I love Sebastian’s first comment
there`…Along with Pat’s also made me smile` It is not wildly known, but a few of the
20-holes games like Bonus 7 have (2) Reflex units` (The second located in the lower cabinets) Equally interesting, most of the early
United’s like Rio do not have a Reflex (Maybe all the pre-1954) ~ ~ ~ |
