DefaultBingo In French Cafe's

I hear that bingo may be allowed to be played in French Cafe's as a way to help them with their troubled finances. I guess in neighboring Belgium, there are 11,000 bingo machines in their cafe's and it has really been a great source of income for them.

It is up to the french Parliament to allow the games.

Feelings are mixed however. Michel Denis at Splin commented: "I don't think it will happen. We have seen attempts to do this for the past 20 years, but French governments have always sought to protect their lottery, the Francaise des Jeux."

Not only have the cafe's been hit hard from the economy but so have people who enjoy playing bingo. Many bingo halls have closed since the smoking ban and their just aren't many places to play.

It is really sad that things have come to this. It is another way for governments to tell us what we can or can't do anymore. A lot of this is our own faults, we let it happen and we put the people in office that is doing it to us. We all need to learn to speak up and out on how we feel! That is the only way they will listen.
