Who would take the video/graphics cards out of a bingo and then sell it`…odd`

These emails start at the bottom of the page and read bottom-to-top`

Besides the missing cards, Wouter’s problem was the fuse bank and this email is very encouraging`

Once he found the right person to talk to, the folks at GAA still had cards for this Bingo and sold him one`

Hello

Now the calypso is installed, but the top board doesn't do anything. Not a single light goes. Also, the screen says nothing. Any suggestions?

I saw in the inside this thing I attached which looks broken. Could it be this?

Greets

Wouter

Awesome my friend - Good job Wouter,

Sounds like you have identified the problem and are working it out _ Perfect _ I wish I could have been more help! I hope to hear from you again on how everything turns out _I wonder if GAA will send you any Cool "bingo-related" Paperwork when they ship you the card.

I would love to see what they send you _ Any flyers, brochures, - etc,

Have a good weekend,

Danny,

Hello

I found out that I have a Pluto 1, but the calypso is missing. So I need thay before I can go further ...

I've got help from GAA company itself (the maker of the bingo).

So now I'm looking where to order the calypso (not so easy it seems). I've send already an mail to heber, waiting for answer now.

I keep you posted :)

OK, look like you have a TSCC Continental Super 7 – Now check out page 26 of this sirmo pdf, where they show that the TFT monitor is a product from the company NEC

We might be dealing with a Pluto, I think once we asked the forum how to connect a d-sub to a Pluto, they are going to tell us that - yes, we need a calypso card - and that is just the beginning, just the easy part _ then we will have to worry about the code, the programming, and there might be both _ the pluto might acknowledge the calypso if we use the correct turn-on sequence, but then we may need some graphics code

I do not know where the Continental Graphics code is at _ One thing we need to better understand is the function of both cards _

Is one of them the graphics - the Pluto _ and is the other just the video driver, the calypso - etc.

regards,

does your monitor have an identification on it?

Thank you,

Hello Danny

Great to hear from  you.

It is not the one in the link you've send, it is this one : http://www.gokspelen.net/index_files/ContinentalSuper7.htm

And the rest you ask is correct. I have a VGA cable that comes from the screen and is about 1.5 meters long. I cannot find a VGA connection on the printboard or somewhere else.

Thanks in advance for your time!

In the next two mails I send you some pictures from the inside.

Wouter

Hello

I am owner of an Bingo machine, Continental super 7. Its looks in a good chape, but I'm not able to start it yet... I have some questions, and I hope you can help me out? I found you name and website with looking around on the internet. - The machine has an TFT screen. It has a VGA cable come out, but I cannot find a place to put the other side to the printboard. The printboard has a serial (parallel?) port on it. Could it be that is has to be plugged in over there with a switch from vga tot parallel?

- Also when I put the machine on, the lights on the playfield are working, the screen says it is not connected, but I have no other lights on the headpanel. Could it also be it is programmed not to work when te screen is not connected?

If you have other tips or questions, shoot. I'm ready to learn :)

Thanks in advance.

Greetings from Belgium.

Wouter
