Subject: eb02 solved on royal skittle
Hi Larry,
I finally solved the EB02 on my royal skittle !
Here is what I did after a long period of investigation:
I replaced the memory chip on the memory module with a DallasRam
(type DS1225Y).
Because this chip has its own battery backup, I was able to read
and change the memory without using a service box or a key, using a eprom
programmer ! So (after investigation) I found which memory locations
needed to be changed, and which value should be in it.
So basically:
· Load a dallasram
with a “good” memory and plug it on the memory card
· Switch H6 ON
· PLAY !!
PS: the Service Box works correctly, I can use it now too J
Regards,
Kris
