Bingo Pinballs

Well as I was looking through the IPD today at the Don Hooker listing, I noticed two very odd things worth highlighting for posterity.

The first is this little gem I present below to tantalize you and to help further define the many riddles surrounding these pins!

Hmmm! – But not just a name change, the extra balls are also missing…..

Which segues nicely into the purpose of this spin, to skirt California Law:

This game is a version of Atlantic City with a different backglass and the Extra Ball feature removed. This was done for certain areas in California where awarding of an extra ball was not permitted.

Well, according to the “unassigned” note in the IPD description area for this machine.

What is real interesting is that none of the IPD detail is assigned names, which is very unusual for the bingos

Here’s a link to Phil’s Atlantic BG Photo just in case you’re curious:

Splin Belgium California?

I thought I would throw this tidbit in as a bonus……lol……

Since I know no one other than me (until now) has ever seen it……

If I am correct, this was a “early-era” 6-card that Splin offered for sell here in America and it was never ordered and just never took off, so only a few backglasses survive!

They work the heck out of these 6-cards in order to hit every possible market.
