Odds & Ends

Well if you have been involved with these Bingos for a while you know that there are always new discover-ies to be found and stumbled upon.

Here are a few I'd like to share that seem to have gone undetected for some time.

Mr. Raphael Lankar from France whom runs a really cool website he refers to as Magic-Circus, sent me this backglass one day and it really caught my eye. Now I know why, I can not find any reference to it anywhere :)

Mr. Jeffery Lawton and Mr. Russ Jensen have now both emailed me on this backglass and have identified it as a modified Bally Spot Lite.

A Bally Spot Lite with a backglass somebody added. Mr. Lawton's email has side-by-side phots and you can really see this as true.

Well! Mystery solved I guess - other then where did this backglass cone from?

I always visit Phil Hooper's website when I have time to play.........the best Bingo source available on the net.

Recently under his "New Section" he asked people to help identify new machines, machines he doesn't have posted.

Well, that very day I was going through the backglass photos under his "SG" listings and notice that on the "Texas" flyer there was a "Florida" machine shown that was different from the one he had listed.

This "Miss Florida" machine had previously slip past his attention and apparently the worlds too.

I like looking at the photos where several machines are nested together.

There are several nice group pics in Mr. Lawton 1st book, but the one on page 19 for some reason is my favorite.

United's Rio.............

This is a known Bingo, but until now there haven't been any pictures out here on the net. Phil Hooper has the flyers posted and the IPD breifly references it as a United machine.

I will post the pics on the IPD when I have more time and when I figure that whole thing out.

This photo is off the net and buried out on one of Bordens more obscure pages. It was months searching and scanning the net before I found it :)

A great place to get fresh pictures and photos is eBay

When I 1st placed this picture here, I did so with this caption: "I cannot find a "single" reference to this Bally anywhere and would appreciate any and all information you would be willing to share."

In response to the above note: Mr. Russ Jensen sends me an email stating:

"There was a SINGLE COIN bingo at one of the Expos, but the backglass was a little different then the one you show here. I think these (like SPOT EM) were substitute glasses to make the games "legal" in places like Ohio. I believe Lawton could expand on that."
