Bingo Pinballs
Created on 04-11-2014 – Last update 10-21-2021
Sometimes it seems that the pinball-gods are keeping an eye on
us down here – Cool – I love this one`
Jay at the IPDB sends out a list, a mystery-list, to a few of us
of Bally bingos that has a couple of unknowns and missing machines on it`
Thanks Jay, very interesting and will help all of us continue to
track-and-trace the history of these games`
One machine on the list is the one below`
Bingo Pinball = Mississippi Showboat
I had never heard of the machine, but I write in about the Sirmo New Orleans connection that exists with the
“end-of-days” at Bally
and at that same time: Dennis spots a picture of the true
Mississippi on Facebook – Sweet`
Thanks Dennis: The machine you see below is perhaps the “only
one” of these Bally Bingos ever produced – Enjoy!
Bally’s paint job here is
wonderfully creative - A great tribute to New Orleans!!
Well since all
the 2015-Hubbub, Phil has posted this and the IPDB has done a wonderful job
documenting it too - Very Cool`
I like Phil’s
pictures the best, they definitely speak to this being a “design prototype on
early release” as well does his notes!
The IPBD
reveals the Serial Number and what a Doozy it is!
…please know
that, other than Continental, this is the only Bally we have seen with an “E”
incorporated in the SN,
Hmmm!
Misc 2019`
Well being curious I looked at the Internet today,
some +3-years later now, and there doesn’t seem to be anything new`
I guess we will have to wait and look a little
harder for additional resources and clues – I wonder if there are any`
St. Lous and New Orleans
_ To Do List _
1)
Add in the emails and notes I shared with Jay on
the Bally/Sirmo connection with Sirmo’s New Orleans – Curious history and I
think part of the story here
2)
Continue to consider the other games too that
could all be tribute
3)
Add a link here to Jay’s mystery list
4)
Bingo Pinballs are Awesome!
