It is the weekend and the summer, park on the street dude.

Is that legal? It's a business area so I wouldn't think it would be legal?

Whew, my 1971 Chicago Coin's Hi-Score Pool and the 1952 Williams Hong Kong are set-up.
Took me about an hour tonight to find the pesky dirty contact on the Hi-Score Pool that was causing the issue.
Luckily I was able to fix it fairly quick on location, as I had zero time to work on my own machine this year. Whew.

There are a lot of nice machines already set-up in the huge floor space, I can't wait for tomorrow ! Plus I need to taste these famous Targ's Perogies.

Thanks to Josh again for making this Pinball Show happen, and also to all the 'crazy' collectors, hobbyists, techs and dealers bringing their machines & parts !

Sincerely & Regards,

- Sylvain.

Seriously, you own $40k worth of pinball machines and your worried about a few bucks for parking. However, if that is your biggest gripe then you can always park at Tunneys Pasture and walk to the venue (10 mins). I am not even sure you will have to pay in that area on the weekend. Quarter you need to get out of the country and into the city a little more often (and I speak as a fella with country roots).

Pinball Rocks!

I think if I add it up its definently more then 40k, TWD LE alone was 10k. But every dollar I save on parking is another dollar towards another machine

I like the country. I can pee off my back porch and no one will know ;)not that I do

I like the country too (and the city). I'm just yanking yer chain a little while I wait for the show to start. However, if you ride your horse into town - parking is free. LOL

You can pee off your front porch in the city - lots of other more interesting stuff to keep the neighbors busy. Nobody looks twice at a drunk guy peeing off his front porch.

Pinball Rocks!

It doesn't specify if this is in effect on weekends.

Yesterday at setup it was really hot in the venue. I can only imagine Saturday, and Sunday, with close to 100 games ON and all the visitors, how hot it will get.

Wanted: Bally 20 hole Bingo machine: Orient, Venice, London, Safari, Super 7, Bonus 7 or Hawaii

As long as it doesn't turn into Zion from that nutso scene in Matrix Revolutions we should be okay.

Day One.
Lots of people, lots of games, lots of...heat.
A good day all in all.
Played lots of games and did some field repairs.
Even got the soldering iron out.
My emergency leg repair station got some good use :-)

Thanks JF, the Emergency Leg Repair Station was a great and generous idea & help!

I too enjoyed games and helped a few with simple repairs, lent tools, and flipped back on a few breakers that kept tripping
(before Josh & others brought additional extension cords to balance the load better).

Finally got to taste the great House of Targ's Perogies. YUMMY, they were amazing !

I am always impressed by people who travel from afar (Halifax, Toronto, Kingston, Quebec City, Montreal, etc.)
to bring games - and parts - for all of us to enjoy, including a rare proto.

THANK YOU / MERCI !

Looking for Bally Capersville or The Wiggler, Williams Grand Lizard, Swords of Fury, 1986 Pinstar Gamatron, and a few others.
Quality & affordable pinball repairs on electro-mechanical and solid state pinball machines for over 33 years.
Serious and fun hobby, powerful nostalgia !

Did Rat Race get sold? It was powered off for a while and then it disappeared. It looked pretty cool and I was hoping to play it.

Yes there were power issues for about an hour or so, it couldn't be played, sorry, I had to leave at 5 max, that's why it "disappeared" so fast. Next year I'll sleep at a hotel Saturday evening so that more people can play it until late at night at the show.
