_ Bally New Yorker _

All through the 1970s, Bally was making a huge effort to establish a business presence for the Bingos in Japan

Sometime around 1976 they even established a local joint-venture hoping that would ensure their success`

I do not pretend to know the whole story, but if you read through my webpage on Japan you will get plenty of detail`

Their business in Japan became known as Bally Services and it did widen the net they were trying to cast`

Here they rebranded their Wall Street and teamed up with Tumura to market it`

The Japanese company Tumura was a player in the Tokyo arcade game industry during the 70s

releasing fighters, shooters, and various race car machines – Not a bad pairing to bolster local advertising`

I stole the image above from Caitlyn’s Eremeka Arcades webpages`…obviously part of a larger flyer`

Or perhaps part of an advertisement running in one of the Tokyo magazines popping up all over`

I know I have seen this machine advertised somewhere else, I will keep looking`

I tried looking through my Game Machine Magazine archives, but no luck`…I will keep on the Hunt
