Continental Turbo _ Well when I
received this photo below, I realized that I had kind of forgot about this
Bingo I was reminded
that we have seen three versions of Turbo and that I never quite finished
telling their story` Tying them
together and sharing all three with you`…So, I thought I’d go
ahead and write this addendum` This variant is
from the Belgium company Sorex and there are also
versions labeled Sirmo and Turbo 3 I have posted
the Sirmo and will go ahead and write up a page for
the missing Turbo 3 In looking at
these today, it is kind of easy to see that they were one of the early Bingos out of
Belgium`…A simple 6-Card format and in all basic primary colors` And seeing the
names Sorex and Sirmo
both kind of highlight that part of the story` One of the
pioneers in the business`…Sorex came-and-went
with very little fanfare` Their name is
not well known and hardly anywhere`… Now, they are pretty much
forgotten` But their legacy
kind of lives on and the final piece of this story`…Namesakes /
Dominions I have tied Sorex to Splin for you, but
this is the first tangible tie we have seen to Sirmo I don’t
know if you have ever notice, but a lot of these companies use common
names/themes` Belgium
Bingos`…Joker, Continental, Golden, Daytona, Circus - etc` After Sorex dissolves, Sirmo would go
on to release many “Golden” games` All with close
layout, format, and similar suite of games`…a few adopting the
Continental middle name` A shared legacy
and history`…Belgium Bingos _ Pretty Cool _ Also check out the
