I have no clue where the photo comes from, but it’s the only one you’ll find on the web. So all though not great, it will have to do.

At 1st I had no idea who the pin was from until I eventually traced it back to Playmatic first by searching on Google then by searching through the IPD:

Dixie /No. 3063/ Playmatic (Barcelona, Spain) , 1 player

Specialty: Bingo Machine

Features:  7 Cards

Notes:    Solid State Design

The flyer is courtesy of Phil Hooper, I should have known he would have some info on this bingo.

Blurbs off the Internet”

#1 - Playmatic of Barcelona, the largest of Spain's many pinball manufacturers, and also one of the most prolific produceers outside the USA.

#2 - Or at least one who only makes rebuild-kits like Playmatic and Bell-Games did with great success in the early eighties.

#3 – A snippet from an Article on Williams getting strong again: Imports? Well. as I wrote about a few issues back, the challenge is a hard one and as you're reading this most of the viability already will have been decided. It is going to be interesting to see how the foreign competition copes, whether it be Zaccaria, Playmatic, Interflip, Recel, Sonic, or any others trying to enter into the fray.

#4 – From a article on the development of microprocessors in pinballs: Spanish company Playmatic developed its on system based on RCA's 1802 CPU. These games with LED displays have been also imported to Finland,

#5 - A pinball machine and jukebox supply company run by Fasulo and his wife went into liquidation last month.

Fasulo, who holds joint Swiss and Italian nationality, listed one of his companies, Playmatic SA, on the 2002 Swiss company directory for being bankrupt, The Associated Press said.

CNN article apr 20 2002

#7 – Listing on “infoguia.net”
